Important:
From Monday, 17 February 2025, there will be a change in traffic routing due to the closure of the Kornhausbrücke. The journey via the Bern-Wankdorf motorway exit (2 km away) will remain unchanged. From Bern railway station, the replacement bus line 9 A (direction Schönburg/Viktoriaplatz) will take you to Viktoriaplatz in 5-10 minutes. After about 260 metres you will reach the entrance to the Kursaal Bern. Further information can be found here.
- Tram No. 9 from Bern main railway station direction "Bern Wankdorf" (departs at approximately 10-minute intervals)
- Travel time to the 'Kursaal' stop is approximately 5 minutes.
By car
- Motorway exit Bern-Wankdorf
- straight ahead direction "Zentrum"
- in Papiermühlestrasse take the right lane
- at the third crossroads turn right into Viktoriastrasse
- at Viktoriaplatz turn left into Kornhausstrasse
- Bern Kursaal is located 100 metres further on the right (under the bridge)
- Parking: the underground garage (for 240 vehicles) offers direct lift access to the Bern Kursaal.
Fees: CHF 4.40 Basic tax first hour | CHF 1.10 per additional 15 minutes
We would like to inform you that the Kornhausbrücke is being renovated and will be closed to motorized traffic until probably mid-November 2025. You will still be able to reach us easily, but you will have to expect changes to traffic routing and public transport.
